Unity 2018.3 Crashed while creating a new HDRP project
How to reproduce:
1. Open Unity launcher
2. Create a new High Definition Render Pipeline project
Expected result: Unity successfully creates and launches the project
Actual result: Unity crashes due to enormous memory usage during example asset import stage
Reproducible with: 2018.3.0a1, 2018.3.0a2
Not reproducible with: 2018.1.5f1, 2018.2.0b8
Could not test with: 2017.1.4.p2, 2017.2.3p1, 2017.4.6f1(No SRP support yet)
Notes:
- Crash does not produce a stack trace
