[Ubuntu 24]Layout window size is rest when reopening the Project

--

-

How to reproduce:
1. Create a new Project
2. Change some window size (Inspector, Hierarchy, Maximize the editor)
3. Click "Default" in the Right Top Corner
4. Click "Save Layout" Button
5. Add a "Cube" GameObject (Right-click in the Hierarchy -> 3D Object -> Cube)
6. Save and close the Project
7. Reopen the project

Expected result: The Editor window size is identical to the one that was before closing the project
Actual result: The Editor window size is the minimum size it can be

Reproducible with: 6000.0.10f1, 2022.3.37f1

Reproduced on: Ubuntu 24.04

  1. Resolution Note:

    This issue is linked to a known bug in the GNOME Mutter window manager on Ubuntu. Mutter sometimes fails to correctly store or restore window sizes and positions, particularly affecting floating windows after restarting. As this issue is not specific to Unity and is a broader problem within the Ubuntu environment, we will not be addressing it within Unity at this time. However, we will continue to monitor the issue and provide updates if a resolution becomes available.
