Issue ID
UUM-141282
Regression
No
Tutorial project is not created when started from the Get set up tab
How to reproduce:
1. Navigate to the “get set up” tab
2. Press start a project
3. Wait until the project stops loading
4. observe the error
Actual result: Rosetta 2 prompt appears behind the Unity Hub window during project creation, and the project then fails to open with a “Project not found” error
Expected result: If Rosetta 2 is required, the prompt should appear in the foreground with clear context, and the project should be created and opened successfully after the requirement is addressed.
Reproducible with: 3.16.3
Reproduced on: macOS 26.3.1
Not reproduced on: No other environments tested
Notes:
- The issue appears to occur during initial project creation from the “Get set up” flow
- A Rosetta 2 dependency prompt is shown before the project becomes inaccessible
- This may be related to project creation failing or the project path not being preserved correctly after the Rosetta 2 requirement interrupts launch
- Reproduction videos located in internal notes show both the Rosetta 2 prompt and the subsequent “Project not found” dialog
