"This package has an invalid signature" warning appears when installing the Addressables package
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new project
2. Open the Package Manager
3. Install the Addressables package
4. Observe the Invalid Signature warning window
Actual result: A warning popup window appears saying that Addressables package has an invalid signature
Expected result: Package gets installed without warnings or errors
Reproducible with: 2.7.6 (6000.3.0f1), 2.8.0 (6000.0.66f1, 6000.3.6f1, 6000.4.0b5, 6000.5.0a5)
Not reproducible with: 2.7.4 (6000.5.0a5)
Reproducible on: Windows 11, MacOS 26.2 (M1)
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Notes:
- The Scriptable Build Pipeline package that gets installed as a dependency with Addressables also reports an invalid signature
- With package version 2.7.6, this issue reproduces only on certain computers
- On the 2.7.6 version the issue was tested and reported by user

Latest issues
