The Rotation of Child GameObject with the Interpolating RigidBody is set to a random number when changing the Rotation of Parent GameObject
How to reproduce:
1. Open the user-attached project “RotationBug”
2. Open the “SampleScene” scene
3. Enter the Play Mode
4. Change the Rotation of “GameObject” GameObject by entering the value into the numeric field in the Inspector
5. Observe the Rotation values on the “Cube” GameObject under the “GameObject” GameObject
Expected result: The Rotation values are all 0
Actual result: The Rotation value is changed to a random number
Reproducible with: 2021.3.26f1, 2022.3.2f1, 2023.1.0b16, 2023.2.0a18
Reproducible on: Windows 11 Pro, macOS Ventura 13.4 (M1)
Notes:
- Reproducible only in the Play Mode
- Reproduction is not consistent, restarting the project causes the issue to happen again
