The materials created in bakers are broken when Domain Reloading
How to reproduce:
1. Open the “BrokenMaterials.zip“ project
2. Open the “SampleScene“
3. In the Hierarchy click on the checkbox near the “New Sub Scene“
4. In the Project window, right-click on “DummyScript.cs“ and select “Reimport“
5. Observe the Game view
Expected result: The GameObjects have materials
Actual result: The GameObjects are pink
Reproducible with: 6000.0.6f1
Could not test with: 2021.3.39f1 (Entity Graphics is unavailable), 2022.3.33f1 (may crash or have a memory leak)
Reproducible on: Windows 10, macOS 13, macOS 14.5
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Note:
- Also breaks baked lighting
- Sometimes Reloading Domain in 2022.3.33f1 led to a crash or memory leak
- Could not find Regression point due to inconsistent crashes and other errors
