The lightmap baking process freezes when generating lighting
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “BugRepro” project
2. Open the Lighting window (Window > Rendering > Lighting)
3. Press the “Generate Lighting” button
Expected result: The lightmap baking process finishes
Actual result: The lightmap baking process freezes
Reproducible with: 2022.3.15f1
Reproducible on: Windows 11 (user)
Note:
- CQA was not able to reproduce this issue locally
- The OpenCL device selection code is broken, since the GeForce 4090 is ignored.
Investigation notes
Devs have also not been able to reproduce the issue. We cannot verify that OpenCL device selection may be broken in certain circumstances.
We had a theory that an AMD GPU sitting next to an NVidia ditto would trigger the problem. [~brian.bennett] tried that with no repro.
Another theory was that the AMD GPU must be integrated as the user's Series 7000.
~torbjorn] tried that [with no repro.
Assigning back to [~arnas.galeckas] as CQA may be able to repro.

Resolution Note:
Hi, we have tried several times with differents setup and with setup proposed in the comment but we have not been able to reproduce the issue on our end. Due to other current priorities we can't afford to spend more time on this issue for now. If you think this issue is critical and/or you have new information that could help to reproduce please re-open the issue. Thanks
