The Editor hangs when the Scene view Camera renders loaded Terrain trees in a specific Scene

How to reproduce:
1. Open the “IN-86912_ATD.zip“ project
2. Open the “GuardTest“ Scene
3. Resize the Scene view window or rotate the Scene view camera towards the Terrain trees
4. Observe the Editor

Expected results: The Editor becomes black
Actual results: The Editor continues to function as usual

Reproducible in: 6000.0.0b16, 6000.0.31f1, 6000.1.0a8
Not reproducible in: 2021.3.46f1, 2022.3.53f1, 6000.0.0b15

Reproduced on: macOS 14.4.1 (M2), macOS 14.6.1 (M1, by the reporter)
Not reproduced on: Windows 11 Pro (23H2), No other environment tested

Notes:
- The Editor does not hang until the textures are loaded in
- Reproducible only in the provided project
- The Editor seems to hang when the terrain trees are rendered, although the same trees do not seem to cause any problems in other projects
- The Editor hangs after getting the following error: “Metal: Error creating pipeline state (HDRP/Lit): Compiler encountered an internal error“
- Resizing the panel is only for visualization of the hang
