The Editor freezes when creating a new Lens Flare (SRP) and adding itself to the Lens Flare Data SRP Type Element
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new Unity project using the Universal 3D template
- Create a new Lens Flare (SRP) Asset (Assets > Create > Rendering > Lens Flare (SRP))
- Select the newly created Lens Flare Data SRP in the Project Browser
- Add a new Element in the Inspector window
- Change Type to "Lens Flare Data SRP"
- Link the created Lens Flare (SRP) in step 2
- Collapse the element
- Repeat steps 4, 5, 6, 7 again
- Observe the Editor
Actual results: The Editor freezes
Expected results: The Editor does not freeze
Reproducible with versions: 6000.2.9f1, 6000.3.0b7, 6000.4.0a3
Can’t test with versions: 6000.0.60f1 (due to the feature not existing)
Tested on (OS): MacOS Silicon Sequoia 15.6.1, Windows 11
