Issue ID
ECSB-1752
Regression
No
SubScene AudioSources play audio automatically in Edit Mode when the Entities Graphics package is installed
How to reproduce:
1. Open the “ECSAudio.zip“ project
2. Open the “BugReportScene“
3. Open Window > Package Manager > Unity Registry
4. Download the Entities Graphics package
5. Observe the Editor
Expected result: No audio is heard
Actual result: The audio on the “EmptyGO” GameObject starts playing
Reproducible in: 2022.3.64f1, 6000.0.52f1, 6000.1.11f1, 6000.2.0b9, 6000.3.0a1
Could not test in: 2022.1.0a1 (various Entity package errors)
Reproduced on: Windows 11 Pro (24H2)
Not reproduced on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- Only reproducible if “Play On Awake“ is enabled, therefore [https://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/all-active-audio-sources-play-their-clips-when-the-play-on-awake-checkbox-is-enabled-and-scene-view-audio-is-unmuted] is partly related to this bug
- The audio is stopped only if the Scene view audio is turned off in the Scene view toolbar, though if the SubScene is reimported or opened/closed, the audio will start playing again
