[SpriteEditor] Memory leak when applying changes to sprite
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open attached project "SpriteMemoryLeak.zip"
2. Select "ziyuan" sprite in project tab
3. Open sprite editor
4. Open task manager
5. Change boundaries of one sprite
6. Press apply
7. In task manager, notice how memory builds up
Reproduced with: 5.3.1f1, 5.4.0b1
Not reproducible: 5.2.4f1

Will this be fixed anytime soon?
I waited about 2 hours for the sprite editor to open up a 2048x2048 atlas (that has has sprites made already)
Now I'm waiting another 2 hours for apply to work? (still going) Memory up to 4.5G now

Still leaking, but Unity 5.3.3 stucks tightly just at the opening of Sprite Editor.

When will the Unity team add this fix to the release?
It is a real pain to update an 8k x 8k multiple sprite atlas with 153mb meta file.
