Sprite packer causes a crash due to out of memory exception
To reproduce:
1. Open attached project
2. Enable sprite packer
3. Try to pack sprites
Expected result: Sprites pack properly
Actual result: Out of memory exception

sprite packer crashes also in 4.6.8p2

We also had this problem, but is simple to fix by disabling the sprite packer.
edit -> project settings -> editor
disable sprite packer

I'm experiencing this error with Unity's version 4.3.4f1. I'll try isolating the guilty files in a new project to isolate the issue and send the bug report.
