Regression
Yes
Sphere GameObject unexpectedly bounces from a slight curve in a Mesh when going at a high Velocity
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project("case_1196160-Project.zip")
2. Open the Scene labeled "SampleScene"
3. Enter the Play Mode
4. Inspect the moving "PlayerSphere"
Expected result: The Sphere rolls along the ramp.
Actual result: The Sphere unexpectedly bounces from the slight curve in the Mesh.
Reproducible in: 2018.3.0a5, 2018.4.13f1, 2019.2.12f1, 2019.3.0b10, 2020.1.0a12
Not reproducible in: 2017.4.34f1, 2018.3.0a4
Workaround: Decrease the Fixed Timestep in Project Settings->Time.
Note: from Unity 2018.3.0a5 to Unity 2018.4.13f1, the Sphere GameObject moves at a lower Velocity when applying the workaround.
