Significant increase in load times entering Play Mode when components have many material AssetReferences
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project from "1168903_AddrPerformance.zip"
2. Open Scene "Loader"
3. Open the Profiler in Editor Mode with Clear on Play enabled
4. Start recording, quickly enter Play Mode and stop recording
5. Observe load times
Expected result: No increase in load times when entering Play Mode
Actual result: A significant increase in the time it takes to enter Play Mode
Reproducible with: 1.19.11, 1.19.17 (2019.4.35f1, 2020.3.28f1, 2021.2.11f1, 2022.1.0b7, 2022.2.0a4)
Notes:
-The user is experiencing load times up to 5 minutes with over 1700 AssetReferences while this project has 100 AssetReferences
-When Enter Play Mode options is selected in Project Settings > Editor, there's no increase in load times
