ShaderGraph Flipbook Node skips a frame when running on devices with AMD GPUs
How to reproduce:
1. Open the user-attached project
2. Open the “FlipbookTest” Scene
3. Enter Play Mode
4. Press the \[→] arrow on the keyboard
Expected result: Both Quads are always visible
Actual result: The left Quad disappears every 6th frame
Reproducible with: 12.1.7 (2021.3.11f1), 13.1.8 (2022.1.18f1), 14.0.3 (2022.2.0b9), 15.0.1 (2023.1.0a13)
Couldn't test with: 2020.3.40f1 (ShaderGraph version does not support used shader “Pink shaders”)
Reproduced on: macOS Monterey 12.6 (Intel) + AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB
Workaround:
- Creating a custom script that the ShaderGraph could use and duplicating the functionality/logic of Flipbook, does not reproduce the issue
Notes:
- 2023.1 reproduction happens every 7th frame rather than the 6th
