Soft Particles don't work with Orthographic cameras, due to depth buffer differences
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open attached project "ParticleOrthoBug.zip"
2. Open scene "BugOrthoBlend"
3. Make sure that Game view is visible
4. Select "Main Camera" in hierarchy and switch between perspective and orthographic modes
5. Notice that opacity of "Quad" is a lot different when comparing each mode
