Shader Graph Main Preview stops responding and freezes when refocusing Editor after changing UV node channel
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new project using Universal 3D template
- Create a Lit Shader Graph
- In the Shader Graph, right-click > Create Node > UV
- Connect the UV node to the Base Color
- Change the UV node channel to anything else
- Drag the mouse in the Main Preview window and observe the Mesh moves
- Click Save or Ctrl+S
- Unfocus from the Editor for ~30 seconds
- Go back to the Editor
- Try to drag the Mesh in the Main Preview
Actual results: The Main Preview window appears frozen and the Mesh does not move when trying to drag/rotate it
Expected results: The Mesh in the Main Preview can be dragged/rotated and continues to move smoothly after refocusing the Editor
Reproducible with versions: 6000.0.71f1, 6000.3.11f1, 6000.4.0f1
Not reproducible with versions: 6000.5.0a9, 6000.6.0a1
Tested on (OS): Windows 11
Notes:
*
Can be really inconsistent to reproduce and sometimes not all steps are needed, or the 5th-7th steps need to be done a few times
- Could not find an existing ticket but also unable to reproduce on 6.5 and 6.6 (could be because the issue is inconsistent to repro)
