Regression
No
SearchService.Request becomes progressively slower when repeatedly reloading the domain over time
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “IN-125719” project
2. Enable the auto reproduction (Tools > Automate Search Repro > Start)
3. Observe the Console window
4. Once the “DomainReloadIndex” reaches 200 disable the auto reproduction (Tools > Automate Search Repro > Stop)
5. Open the “Logs/SearchRequestMetrics.csv” file
6. Compare the “totalMs” between the first and last results
Actual result: With each “DomainReloadIndex” increase the “totalMs” increases
Expected result: With each “DomainReloadIndex” increase the “totalMs” remains consistent
Reproducible with: 6000.0.66f1, 6000.3.5f1, 6000.4.0b5, 6000.5.0a5
Reproducible on: Windows 11, Ubuntu 25.04
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Notes:
- Did not search for a regression, since the reproduction times are very long
- All timings were measured and showcased in the internal notes
