Script Updater fails with System.InvalidOperationException when updating the project
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project ("case_1170375-api-updater-fail.zip")
2. Run the Script Updater
3. Inspect console
Expected results: Script Updater succeeds
Actual results: Script Updater fails with "System.InvalidOperationException" exception
Reproducible with: 2018.4.5f1, 2019.1.13f1
Not reproducible with: 2019.2.0a1, 2019.2.0f1
Couldn't test with 2017.4, as the original project was in 2018.4
Couldn't test with 2019.3 because of project errors after upgrading
