Yes
Script file name changes do not display in Editor when Compiler errors are present
How to reproduce:
1. Open “IN-92536_TestFileRename“ project
2. Confirm that there is a Compiler error in the Console
3. Rename “Test.cs” to “Renamed.cs”
4. Observe file name in the Project browser
Expected result: File name change is displayed in the Project browser
Actual result: File name does not change in the Project browser
Reproducible with: 6000.0.22f1, 6000.0.34f1, 6000.1.0b2
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.47f1, 2022.3.56f1, 6000.0.21f1
Reproducible on: macOS 15.2 (M1 Max), Windows 11
Not reproducible on: no other environments tested
Workaround: Rename file directly from OS (Finder, Explorer)
Notes:
- The updated file name is visible in Console and file path (bottom of Project browser when file is selected)
- Files with extensions .mixer, .shader, .asset, .physicsMaterial2D did not reproduce the issue
