Scene and asset changes not saved when "Verify Saving Assets" is enabled on the Linux Editor
How to reproduce:
1. Open the user attached project ("test20211114.zip")
2. In the menu bar go to "Edit > Preferences..." and enable the "Verify Saving Assets" in the "General" section
3. In the Project panel select the "New Flare" asset
4. In the Inspector disable "Use Fog"
5. In the Hierarchy select the "Main Camera", not its current position, and move it from that position
6. Press Ctrl+S to save the changes in the scene and in the "Save Assets" window that opens up press the "Save All" button
Expected result: the scene and asset changes are saved
Actual result: the scene and asset changes aren't saved
Reproducible with: 2020.3.26f1, 2021.2.8f1, 2022.1.0b4, 2022.2.0a2
Not reproducible with: 2019.4.35f1
Reproducible on: Ubuntu 20.04
Not Reproducible on: Windows 10
Note: Closing and reopening the project reverts the changes made in the scene
