[Gamma/Linear] Realtime vs. Baked lighting inconsistent results
Lighting is predictable in real-time and baked applications in linear space only.
Gamma baking yields results similar to linear baking, while gamma space real-time is completely different.

Ok, so this is open since 2015 and seems not to be in the roadmap at all.
What are the alternatives if we do not want to use real time lightning? Just switch
to linear color space?

It's not fixed as of 11 November 2016. Just try to bake some 3D Forge scenes. Like Interriors, The Crypt. Totally, absolutely over-saturated baked lightning, and great looking, dim realtime lightning.
It would take days to manually "predict" the results of baking. Extremely frustrating.

This was "fixed in 5.4.0", but now it is open again....what gives?

Any information on when exactly this fix will be released? We have created an in-house solution for 5.2 which gamma-adjusts lightmaps, but it would require some rework for 5.3. Since this is already fixed we would prefer to just hold out on updating until this has been rolled out.

This issue should be in Lightmapping....sorry for the confusion
