Project cannot be favorited while a project is being opened
How to reproduce:
1. Open Hub
2. While opening a project, click the Star icon for favoriting projects
Actual result: The project is not favorited
Expected result: The project is favorited
Reproducible with: 3.5.2, 3.6.0-beta.1
Reproduced on: macOS Silicon Sonoma, Windows 11
