Search cross icon disappears on installing or removing a package

Steps to Repro:
1. Create a new Project
2. Window > Package Manager
3. Search any package in the search filed
4. Install or remove the package from the list

Actual Result:
The "X" icon disappears from search filed

Expected Result:
Cross icon shouldn't disappear

Environment:
Windows and Mac
