[OSX] Selecting MonoDevelop or Visual Studio in preferences, clears other IDE's form the selection

CodeEditors

-

To reproduce:
1. Have Sublime Text or VS Code installed
2. Open any Unity project
3. In Preferences > External tools select Sublime text or VS Code as external script editor
4. After that select Mono Develop or Visual Studio

Expected result: IDE is changed end other IDE's are still in the list
Actual result: IDE is change, other IDE's are missing

Reproduced on: 5.6.4p2 2017.1.1f1 2017.2.0f3 2017.3.0b9 2018.1.0a4

Reproduced this on 10.13.1 and 10.12.6 macOSX also on 10.24.4 iMac.

  1. Resolution Note:

This particular case has been investigated thoroughly and we have decided, in the interests of protecting the stability and features of Unity for users that rely upon the affected versions, to not address this fix for the time being. We understand that this will cause problems for some users, and so may address in a future version.
