Issue ID
UUM-136438
Regression
No
Editor Role does not sync with the MPPM Play Mode Scenario Role when entering Play mode
How to reproduce:
1. Open the “IN-136243“ project
2. Open the “SampleScene“ scene
3. Select the "Client" Play mode scenario from the Play mode toolbar
4. Select the "Server" role in the Editors role dropdown menu (top right toolbar)
5. Enter play mode
6. Observe the Console
Actual result: Editor Role remains assigned to Server
Expected result: Editor Role is changed to Client
Reproducible with: 2023.3.0b1 (8ec5c23b39da), 6000.0.70f1, 6000.3.11f1, 6000.4.0b11, 6000.5.0a6
Could not test with: 2023.1.0a1 (No MPPM Scenario selection UI, I was only able to set the Editor Role)
Fixed in: 6000.5.0a7
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Notes:
- To reproduce the issue in 6000.0.70f1, the provided test scripts in the “IN-136243“ project had to be deleted (issues with tags and package compatibility)
- The Editor Role will be synced with the MPPM Scenario Role when either exiting Play mode or entering Play mode a second time
