Null reference exceptrion when displaying a generic menu with a delay
To reproduce:
1. Open the project, attached by the user (Layout Exception.zip)
2. Go to Test -> Window
3. Press Test button
4. Wait until a Generic Menu appears on the screen
5. Click anywhere on the screen to close the Generic Menu
6. Observe the console
Expected: no errors are shown when a Generic Menu is closed
Reproduced in 2017.1.3p3, 2017.2.2p3, 2017.3.1f1, 2018.1.0f1, 2018.2.0a8
Tested on Windows 10
