[macOS] top bar shows drop menu blank and halts the Editor
as described in the slack channel https://unity.slack.com/archives/C06TQ9LFP/p1712570537160039 , sometimes the drop list from the macOS top bar is blan and halts the editor, forcing me to Force quit and lose work
