[M1] Unsigned macOS Dedicated Server throws a "will damage your computer" error when running on Silicon macOS and using “Intel 64-bit + Apple silicon” Build Architecture
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “IN-82560.zip” project
2. Open the Build Settings window
3. Switch the Target Platform to Dedicated Server
4. Build and Run the project
Expected result: The build is succesful, the Terminal is opened and the process in the Terminal finishes
Actual result: “MacDedicatedServer-SigningIssue will damage your computer…” error is thrown
Reproducible with: 2021.3.43f1, 2022.3.45f1, 2023.1.0a4
Not reproducible with: 6000.0.17f1
Fixed in: 2023.1.0a5
Reproduced on: macOS 13.6.6 (M1)
Not reproduced on: Windows 11, macOS 14.6.1 (Intel)
Notes:
- Not reproducible when the Build Architecture is set to “Apple silicon” or “Intel 64-bit”, only reproducible with “Intel 64-bit + Apple silicon” Build Architecture
- Also reproducible if running via Terminal commands or launching the executable itself
