[Linux] [Packman] Package Manager UI will sometimes freeze indefinitely after installing package on CentOS 7
[Linux] [Packman] Package Manager UI will sometimes freeze indefinitely after installing package on CentOS 7
Intermittently after installing a package from the Package Manager UI, the UI will freeze indefinitely. The user will need to close and re-open the window to regain functionality. This has been observe to occur approximately 1 in every 5 attempts to reproduce. No pattern as to how to trigger this defect consistently has been observed.
Steps to reproduce:
- On a CentOS 7 machine, create/open a new unity 2019.3.0a12(+) project
- Open the Package Manager (Window > Package Manager)
- One by one, begin to select and install the available packages
- Observe that intermittently, the Package Manager UI will freeze indefinitely
- Close the frozen Package Manager window
- Reopen the Package Manager window (Window > Package Manager)
- Observe it is again responsive
