[Linux] Freeze when entering the Play Mode and "Use Set Data" is disabled
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “FreezeRepro” project
2. Open the “Assets/Scenes/ComputeBufferHangScene.unity” scene
3. Enter the Play Mode
Expected result: Unity Editor doesn’t freeze, just like when “Use Set Data” is enabled
Actual result: Unity Editor freezes
Reproducible with: 2020.3.46f1, 2021.3.21f1, 2022.2.11f1, 2023.1.0b8, 2023.2.0a6
Reproducible on: Ubuntu 22.04
Not reproducible on: Windows 10 Pro 22H2
Note: The frame count where the Unity Editor freezes may differ depending on the machine.
