It is not possible to share Shadow maps between two cameras
How to reproduce:
1. Open attached project
2. Open scene shadowtest.unity
- Observe how in the game view, the Sphere does not cast a shadow on the plane in the background, but the Capsule does
By Design: Currently we have no plans to share shadowmaps between cameras. Quite often shadowmaps are camera / view dependent for quality reasons so it does NOT make sense to share them unless cameras are really close.
