[iOS] [Unity 2017] Performance drop spikes in Render.Mesh using Multithreaded Rendering
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project.
2. Make sure Multithreaded Rendering is toggled in the Player Settings > Other.
3. Build and run to iOS and connect the Editor Profiler.
4. Inspect the CPU performance spikes in the Profiler.
Actual behavior (Screenshots attached):
- 10% - 70% CPU usage spikes in Render.Mesh.
Reproduced with:
- 2017.1.3p3, 2017.2.2p3, 2017.4.1f1
Not reproducible with:
- 2018.1.0f1 (Last screenshot)
or
- Android
Tested with:
- iPhone 6S+ iOS 10.3.2 (Should be reproducible on any device)
