Inspector Add Key & Undo in Timeline Curves un-selects & collapses curve properties
When moving a GO in the scene in rec mode, keys get added to the curves view and properties stay selected & expanded (current state is preserved). This is also the case when double-clicking or RMB-click>Add Key on a curve. This is the expected behaviour, but...
when you RMB-click>Add Key in the "Inspector", property selection & expanded state is lost.
This is VERY bad for workflows that depend Add Key option in the Inspector.
repro:
- create a Timeline with a GO in rec mode
- RMB-click in the Inspector and add 2 Position keys at different time intervals
- open the timeline curves view set the current time in-between the 2 keys
- in the curves view, expand and select a single property (ex: posY)
- in the Inspector, RMB-click>Add Key...

Thanks for sharing this issue with the Unity Inspector's timeline curves. It’s definitely a workflow disruption when key additions in the Inspector cause curve properties to be un-selected and collapsed, especially when working with precise animations. Unity's recent updates have yet to address this issue, and it would be great if it was prioritized for smoother keyframe management.
