Input Action binding are discarded for the first time they are set when auto-save is enabled
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “IN-89058.zip” project
2. In the Assets folder, open “InputSystem_Actions.inputactions”
3. Make sure “Auto-Save” is enabled
4. Add a new Action
5. Try to set the binding path to “2 [Keyboard]”
6. Observe the Action binding
Expected result: The binding is set to “2 [Keyboard]”
Actual result: The binding is not set
Reproducible in: 1.8.1(6000.0.28f1, 2022.3.47f1), 1.11.2(6000.0.28f1, 6000.1.0a5)
Not reproducible in: 1.8.0-pre.2(2022.3.47f1)
Couldn’t test in: 1.8.0(6000.0.28f1, 2022.3.47f1) (Errors thrown when trying to open dropdown list when selecting binding)
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- Setting it a second time works
- The regressed version might be 1.8.0 or 1.8.1 since 1.8.0 could not be tested on
