Imported FBX Models are not visible in the Scene or previewable in the Project files when the Parallel Import option is enabled
Reproduction steps:
1. Create a project with any template and open it
2. Enable Parallel Import option (Edit > Project Settings > Editor)
3. Import assets from "SovietMisc.zip" to the project
4. Open the Scene "Overview"
5. Observe the FBX models in the Scene
6. Navigate to the Objects folder (Assets > Meshes > Objects)
7. Observe the FBX model previews
Expected result: Imported FBX models are visible in the Scene and previewable in the Project files
Actual result: FBX models are not visible in the Scene and not previewable in the Project files
Reproducible with: 2023.1.0a8, 2023.1.20f1, 2023.2.2f1, 2023.3.0a16
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.33f1, 2022.3.14f1, 2023.1.0a6
Couldn't test with: 2023.1.0a7 (the version is not available for QA)
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: no other environment tested
Notes:
- Workaround: import objects without enabling the parallel import option
- During the import process, activation of Windows Error Reporting and multiple Unity Crash Reporters are visible in the Task Manager
- Affects all pipeline versions: Built-in, URP, and HDRP
