[Linux] Generating lighting on an HDRP project on Linux throws an AssertionException that a value is null
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new HDRP project
2. Open the "Lighting" window by going to the menu bar "Window > Rendering > Lighting Settings"
3. In the "Lighting" window press the "Generate Lighting" button
Expected result: The lighting is generated successfully
Actual result: The lighting generation never finishes and keeps throwing AssertionExceptions in the Console
Reproducible with: 2019.4.16 (HDRP 7.3.1, 7.5.2), 2020.1.17f1 (HDRP 8.3.1), 2020.2.0f1 (HDRP 10.2.2), 2021.1.0a10 (HDRP 11.0.0)
Not reproducible with: 2018.4.301f (HDRP 4.1.0)
Could not test with: 2019.3.0a1 (Doesn't open project), 2019.3.1f1 (HDRP 7.1.8), 2020.1.0a1 (HDRP 7.0.1), 2020.2.0a1 (HDRP 7.1.7) (Editor freezes when generating lighting)
Notes:
1. Reproducible on Ubuntu 18.04
2. Not reproducible on Windows 10
3. The issue doesn't reproduce using URP or the Built-in RP, both using OpenGL or Vulkan
4. Pressing the "Generate Lighting" button or enabling "Auto Generate" causes the issue
5. Reproducible on the latest 2020.2 and 2021.1 versions only after upgrading the old HDRP template project
