GameObjects made using "GameObject.CreatePrimitive" appear pink in the Player when the default material is used
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project “IN-136043”
2. Build and run the project
3. Observe the Player
Actual result: The lower cube GameObject appears pink
Expected result: Both cube GameObjects appear the same
Reproducible with: 2023.1.0a3, 6000.0.70f1, 6000.3.11f1, 6000.4.0b12, 6000.5.0a8
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Workaround: Assigning a material after creating the object
Notes:
- The “SampleScene” in the reproduction project contains a prefab of the GameObject made using CreatePrimitive
- The material and shader on the GameObject made using CreatePrimitive is replaced with “Hidden/InternalErrorShader”
