Game view resolution changes are not applied instantly after entering Play mode with the full-screen option enabled
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new project
2. Open the Game view and select one of the Fullscreen options for the "Enter Play Mode" setting
3. Enter Play mode
4. While in Play mode, change the Game view resolution using the drop-down menu
5. Observe the Game view after the resolution change
Expected results: Game view resolution is updated immediately after the resolution is changed or after the fullscreen Game view is refocused
Actual results: Game view resolution is not updated
Workaround: Pausing and unpausing the Play mode or re-entering it refreshes the resolution
Reproducible with: 2021.2.0b8, 2022.1.0a5
Could not test with: 2019.4.36f1, 2020.3.29f1, 2021.2.12f1(Full-sreen option for Game view was not yet available)
Tested on: Windows 10(Two 4K screen set-up and a single 4K screen), macOS 12.0.1(Single 3072x1920 Retina display and 3072x1920 + external 4K display)

Fullscreen Playmode has been removed from Unity in its current iteration. It does not meet the product quality bar. We hope to address it in the future in a more holistic way.
