# Open the attached project named "AudioImportCase"
# After the project opens, observe the Console window - it should contain some errors
# In the Project window, Right-Click on the Ellen folder and select "Reimport"
# Observe the Console window again after the reimport process is over

*Expected results:* No errors are thrown

*Actual results:* "FSBTool ERROR: Internal error from FMOD sub-system." error is thrown and the audio files are not usable in the Editor

*Reproducible with:* 2022.2.0a3, 2022.2.0b1, 2023.1.0a3

*Not reproducible with:* 2020.3.37f1, 2021.3.6f1, 2022.1.9f1, 2022.2.0a2

*Notes:*
# Tested on macOS 12.0.1 and Windows 11
# Only part of the audio files throw the mentioned error when the project is opened for the first time. However, after the Ellen folder is reimported all audio files start throwing the same error

  1. Resolution Note (fix version 2023.1.0a23):

    Fixed a bug where audio import of Ogg files would fail sometimes in the Editor. This bug may have affected other audio file types as well.

    I'm getting the "FSBTool ERROR: Internal error from FMOD sub-system" for a mp3 file in 2022.3.20f1 LTS. Release notes for LTS versions these days should say only "good luck".

    Can you stop break things in LTS versions? Everything was working fine in 21.3.30f1, then after upgrading 21.3.33f1 UI buttons stopped working at some aspect ratios and in 21.3.34f1 audio files are not importing.

    Im getting errors:
    Errors during import of AudioClip Assets/.../AudioClipName.mp3:
    FSBTool ERROR: Internal error from FMOD sub-system.

    yeah, uhhhhhh, i still have isues with importing any kind of mp3,ogg,wav filles

    No idea if this is the same bug, but the suggestion is this post helped me as a temporary solution while waiting for a proper fix for this: https://forum.unity.com/threads/fsbtool64-exe-stops-working-when-importing-many-ogg-files.1366758/

    "But if I kill FSBTool64.exe from process manager and re-import it imports fine."

    Got this error even for wav files. Tried to reimport then but with no success.
    Tested on 2022.2.b.b12. On 2022.1 worked just fine.
