Environment Samples count resets to 2048 when entering a higher number
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “EnvironmentSampleIssue” project
2. Open the “Assets/Scenes/SampleScene” Scene
3. In the Lighting settings (Window > Rendering > Lighting), select the Scene tab
4. Under the Lightmapping Settings, set the “Environment Samples” value to higher than 2048 (e.g. 10000)

Not reproducible with: 2021.3.48f1, 2022.1.0a12
Reproducible on: macOS Sequoia 15.3 (M1 Max), Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Note: “Direct Samples” and “Indirect Samples” values can be set higher than the max slider value, contrary to “Environment samples”
