Editor freezes when selecting a class that inherits from an Abstract Generic class
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the “Crash test” Project
2. Open the “Assets/Scenes/SampleScene.unity” Scene
3. Select the “Click to Crash” GameObject in the Hierarchy Window
Expected results: GameObject is selected
Actual results: The Editor freezes then closes
Reproducible with: 2021.2.0a18, 2021.2.19f1, 2021.3.18f1, 2022.2.7f1, 2023.1.0b3, 2023.2.0a2
Not reproducible with: 2020.3.45f1
Could not test with: 2021.2.0a1 - 2021.2.0a17 (could not downgrade the project)
Reproduced on: Intel MacOS 13.1
Not reproducible on: Windows 10 22H2
Notes:
In 2020.3.45f1 Editor does not freeze but displays two empty errors and two errors (Couldn't extract exception string from exception of type StackOverflowException (another exception of class 'NullReferenceException' was thrown while processing the stack trace){*}){*}
Could not find the exact regressed version due to various package errors when downgrading the project
