Editor hangs without stack trace when minimizing the Editor
Reproduction steps:
1. Create and open a new Unity project
2. Minimize the Unity Editor
Expected result: The Unity Editor is minimized
Actual result: The Unity Editor hangs and the system must be restarted.
Reproducible with: 2021.3.21f, 2022.3.15f1, 2023.2.3f1 (User reported)
Reproducible on: macOS (M2 Pro), macOS (M3 Max), macOS (M3 Pro) (User reported)
Not reproducible on: macOS 14.2.1 (M1 Max), macOS 14.1.1 (M2 Ultra) (Tested by CQA)
Note:
-The issue was not reproduced locally by CQA, users reproduced the issue on macOS M2 Pro, M3 Max, M3 Pro devices
-Some users reported that the issue is not reproducible when in System Settings, Desktop & Dock, the “Minimise windows using” setting is set to “Genie Effect”
