Regression
Yes
Dragging a Sprite into the Scene View causes a flickering image of the Sprite to display in 2 different places
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project from "1402216sprites.zip"
2. Open Scene "SampleScene"
3. From Project Browser drag "Asset/Art/Weapons/Axe_A/Sprite_Weapon_Axe_A.png" to Scene View without letting go
4. Move the Asset around and observe flickering
Expected result: No flickering occurs
Actual result: Sprite flickers between the position of where it entered into Scene View and on the position of the mouse
Reproducible with: 2020.3.19f1, 2020.3.30f1, 2021.2.13f1, 2022.1.0b9, 2022.2.0a5
Not reproducible with: 2019.4.36f1, 2020.3.18f1
Note: Reproducible with macOS, not Windows
