Crash on DeletePrefabInstanceObjectsForMissingPrefabs when opening a specific project for the first time
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “IN-117928” project
2. Observe the crash
Reproducible with: 6000.2.0b13, 6000.2.8f1, 6000.3.0b6, 6000.4.0a2
Not reproducible with: 6000.0.59f1, 6000.2.0b12
Reproduced on: Windows 11, macOS 26 (M4) (user reported)
Not reproduced on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- The project will open successfully on the second try
- The crash does not occur after deleting the Assets from the Assets folder
- The issue does not reproduce when moving the Assets folder to a fresh project
