Crash on BaseHierarchyProperty::Next when opening a specific project
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “My project” project
2. Observe the Editor
Expected result: The Editor is opened
Actual result: The Editor crashes
Reproducible with: 2021.3.26f1, 2021.3.37f1
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.25f1, 2022.3.26f1, 2023.2.19f1, 6000.0.0b16
Fixed in: 2022.1.0a1
Reproducible on: MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1 (Intel), Windows 11 (user’s)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Workaround:
- Remove the library
Notes:
- The crash occurs regardless of the selected platform
- Very rarely the project does not crash but freeze
