Clicking away when inputting Multibyte characters in the input field, duplicates the input
Steps to reproduce:
1. Download and open the attached project
2. Enter play mode
3. Start writing Multibyte characters in the input field
4. Click away
Expected result: only the current characters remain
Actual result: text written gets doubled
Reproduced with 5.3.7p2, 5.4.4f1, 5.5.0p4, 5.6.0b4
Reproduced with Japanese and Chinese characters
Not reproduced with Arabic or Greek characters
