Black screen in a Build when there are too many GameObjects with HDRP Shaders in the Scene
How to reproduce:
1. Download the "Emissary Levels" project form the google drive (Link provided in the edit)
2. Open the "Forest Reforged" Scene (Found in Assets->Z Scenes)
3. Build the project (File->Build)
4. Open the built project
Expected result: The Scene is rendered the same as in the Editor
Actual result: The Scene is rendered as mostly black
Reproducible with: 7.1.8, 7.4.1 (2019.3.1f1, 2019.4.6f1, 2020.1.0a26, 2020.2.0a11)
Not reproducible with: 8.0.1 (2020.1.0a23, 2020.1.0b9, 2020.2.0a11), 9.0.0-preview.33 (2020.1.0b13, 2020.1.0f1, 2020.2.0a20)
Could not test with: 2018.4.26f1, 2019.3.0f6 because downgrading breaks the Prefabs
Notes:
- In the original project provided by the user, the build is completely black, in the project that is provided in the Google Drive the there are some rendering issues rendering black lines/planes but it is possible to see some properly rendered objects
- The issue seems to be related only to the amount of the GameObjects in the Scene, deleting enough of GameObjects from the Scene fixed the issue
- It doesn't seem that it matters which GameObjects are deleted as long as enough are deleted it'll render properly in the build
