Assets last imported before 5.5.0b3 don't show up in inspector selection menu in 5.5.0b3+
To reproduce:
1) Create new project in 5.5.0b2-
2) Create new material in Project View
3) Create a cube in scene
4) Try to add a material on cube through the menu by clicking the dot on right side of MeshRenderer's Material - see that newly created material exists as an option
5) Close project
6) Open it in 5.5.0b3+
7) Repeat step 4 - now the material is gone from list
Reimporting an asset fixes the problem
