Animation Preview in the Inspector window is distorted

To reproduce:

1. Download attached project "Animation Preview Bug.zip" and open in Unity
2. Open "Test" scene
3. Select New Animation.anim
4. In Inspector window press Preview Play button

Expected result: In Preview view, you will see that it plays Cube animation normally
Actual result: In Preview view, you will see that it plays Cube animation, it flickers and creates a lot of artifacts

Note: This issue appears both on Windows and OSX

Reproduced on Unity 5.6.0p4 and 5.6.1f1
Not reproduced on Unity 5.5.3p2, 5.6.0p3 and 2017.1.0b4
Regression on Unity 5.6.0p4

    Yes, causing headaches for us as well on 5.6.x. The frustrating part is we're paying for Unity 2017.1 but it crashes so we can't use it.

    Also getting this. Some said the latest patch should have fixed it, but that appears not to be the case.

    When is this going to be fixed? It's been in "Fix in Review" status for over a month now and didn't even make it into the latest patch.
